Villa Alkioni I, one of our three “Nymphs,” is a jewel of the “Eolides Villas” residential complex, which we completed with great passion in 2022 in our home village. It is a detached two-bedroom villa with en-suite bathrooms with showers, suitable for guests of all ages.
The outdoor dining area with its rustic barbecue and view of the enchanting sunset will create unforgettable memories. The space is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay, long or short, with family or friends, any time of the year.
This ideal home is located in a quiet village, Lampini in southern Rethymno, where there are traditional cafes, a tavern 300m from the villa, a soccer field, and a playground.
It is only 3 minutes from the bus stop and the village of Mixorouma, where you can find shops, and is the ideal base for any adventure you are looking for in Crete, offering a nearby escape to the sea combined with a quiet life In its crete nature.
Just a 20-minute drive will take you to the south coast with the popular and award-winning beaches of southern Rethymno and the crystal clear waters of the Libyan Sea. The comfortable outdoor area in an idyllic green environment 250 sq.m. with a private outdoor pool (heated at an extra charge – upon request) 30 sq.m. and a depth of 1.45 m, offers stunning views of the horizon and the countryside and invites you to relax with family or friends, creating endless moments of joy and tranquility while enjoying the Cretan summer. The building was completed in 2022, with high-quality architectural supervision, so that the space is functional, respecting both the environment and its visitors: low-pollution appliances, soundproofing and thermal insulation, a choice of mainly natural materials such as wood and iron used in its construction, quality home furnishings, and a genuine love and passion for its creation. A space that reflects images that come to life through human experiences.
• The villa is part of the Eolides villas complex, which includes two other villas, Kanaki II and Polimili III. Each villa has a private pool and separate facilities. Guests have the entire property at their disposal for private use! Full access inside and outside the villa! No shared areas! No stairs!
Outdoor area
The villa’s outdoor area covers 250 m2 of beautiful private surroundings, offering comfort and fully equipped with sun loungers, a gazebo, lounge, pool umbrella, outdoor dining area with barbecue facilities (natural gas), and everything necessary for our younger guests to play, so you can enjoy the Cretan sun next to the private outdoor pool (heated – at an extra charge – upon request) 30 m2 and a depth of 1.45 m, or to cook and dine with your friends while admiring the idyllic sunset.
Interior
This country house has a ground floor area of 78 m2. Upon entering the villa, you will find a living room with a 60″ SMART TV, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and a dining area for entertaining your loved ones.
The bedrooms are elegantly designed and furnished and include high-quality beds with natural mattresses (cosmostrom) and bedding (100% cotton), built-in wardrobes, and air conditioning for a restful night’s sleep. Specifically, the double bedroom with garden view has a queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00), and the double bedroom with pool view has two single beds (0.90 x 2) that can be joined with a topper (upon request) and converted into a king-size bed. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people in the two bedrooms, and one more guest can sleep on a fold-out bed (upon request) that can be placed in the bedroom with the two single beds.
All rooms have direct access to the terrace and pool.
*For fitness enthusiasts, equipment is available in the villa, including a resistance band, Pilates Resistance Circistance, mini exercise ball, resistance bands, and yoga mat.
For our younger guests, there is a playground for endless hours of fun.
Your stay at the house includes
Welcome basket, cleaning service, and towel change once a week. Sheet change every 7 nights.
Pool and garden cleaning twice a week, including daily morning cleaning and inspection of the pool and outdoor area.
Baby-friendly villa
Baby cot, high chair, baby bath, relax chair – upon request, children’s tableware, children’s toys, safety covers for electrical outlets.
Practical Facilities
The property is well equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, electric stove with oven, filter coffee machine and espresso machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, toaster, juicer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, fully equipped kitchen, PS4 is available upon request and availability.

Outdoor pool heating policy:
– The heating temperature can reach up to 27°C depending on the outside weather conditions.
– Preferred months | Pool heating is usually used during the months of March – mid -June and October, November.
– Advance notice | 2 days’ notice prior to arrival is required to ensure the pool reaches the optimum temperature.
– Additional charges | €60/day
– Booking duration | Pool heating is only available for the entire stay, with the cumulative cost as described above.
• Weather conditions | When the outside temperature is above 25°C or in case of rain, it will not be operational. Please note that there is no pool cover available.
Important information
Smoking is only permitted outside the villa.
Pets are not allowed.
There is secure parking within the villa grounds.
House cleaning once a week. WI FI coverage is available in the outdoor and indoor areas of the villa.
PS4 is available upon request and availability.
An ergonomic work chair is available upon request.
